A free image viewer of very small size, to take with you wherever.

ImageOpen is a basic image viewer (each image is opened in a window that has the same size), and is accessed via the Windows contextual menu, clicking the right mouse button on the file and selecting "Open".

The options of this small program include: the Next and Previous commands to see images of before and after he actual one, you can have the program always in the foreground, on top of all other programs (the Top option). If the image you are going to view is too big, you can also select the option to open it with the Internet Explorer browser.
